the 1st Pinto Stampede
The Pinto Stampede and the
Pinto Car Club of America
joined forces to coral Ford Pinto owners across America. Our goal was twofold (1) To celebrate the 40th
anniversary of our beloved little pony, the Ford Pinto and (2) A charity drive across America supporting the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Pinto Stampede started in Denver, Colorado on May 29th, 2011 and finished
in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on June 2nd, 2011.
At our final stop Carlisle Events hosted the
Carlisle Ford Nationals
June 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2011 and helped us Celebrate the birth of the Pinto with a special 40th anniversary display.
During the Stampede there were many memorable sites visited along
our theme and goal to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Along with the raffle at Carlisle for the Ted Nugent signed guitar we encouraged prople
thru TV, radio and news outlets, both print and internet, to sponsor a Pinto for each
mile driven on the Stampede with donations going directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
