What's needed Our Main objective is to arrive safely, all of us! We do not want to strand anyone in the middle of nowhere.
1) We are going to need support vehicles, if you plan to trailer your car back with your own trailer after the show, we may call upon you to help out a Pinto in need along the way. 2) Spare parts, anything from hoses to rotors, if we can carry it, bring it. Pinto spare parts are not available at the local Auto parts supplier. ( A running list of what we have is at the bottom of the page) 3) CB/two way radios. We will need to know if you are in distress or if we are stopping to eat. 4) Tools, self explanatory, but at least bring a lug wrench, Locking lug nut key (if you have one) and a jack. A first aid kit is a good idea. So is a camera and a pen and paper. And of course, make sure your spare tire is inflated and in good working order. 5) Prepare your cars, you will need to check your hoses, timing belts, replace if necessary and bring an extra if you have it. Change oil, fuel filters, plugs, etc. Check your brakes, fluid levels, flush your coolant and replace with new. Check your tires, dry rot will not make it.
