This Pinto Stampede for the Wounded Warrior Project was a huge success. With help from friends and family including one Pinto owner, Jim Madison of the Bullet Stop Gun Shop, who drove up from Rockford, IL we had 6 Pinto's on display for the Show. Feedback from the car show participants and spectators was unbelievable.

The Grand Rapids Harold-Review sent Lisa Rosemore to do a story on The Stampede and why we Ride for the Wounded Warrior Project. To see the story click HERE for page 1 and HERE for page 2

A Note From Brian: Hundreds of pamplets were handed out informing the public about the Pinto Stampede and why we ride for the Wounded Warrior Project supporting this important cause. Talking to the familys of Wounded Warriors and receiving thanks for what we do, that is the best part of what I do and why I ride.

Pinto owners also came out of the woodwork from all over the state to tell me of a hidden Pinto, stuffed in a garage for many years. Some were for sale, others asked for info on how to restore theirs and get them back on the road. I'm hoping to continue to support the local Pinto owners, keep in touch, help when and where I can and have them ride with me one day on a future Stampede.

With the success of this event and the feedback I received I'm excited to announce my "Rides" will continue. I have been asked to bring the Pinto Stampede for the Wounded Warrior Project to other car shows in the Northland. Several organizers approached me hoping to see the Pinto's at their shows. Sunday I participated at the Itasca Vintage Car Show at the Grand Rapids Fairgrounds. 2 of the Pinto's were brought, a nice display was setup and again we were well received.

My next Stampede event will be the 40th Annual Swap Meet and Car Show hosted by the Northland Wheels Chapter of the Studebakers Drivers Club. Sunday, August 14th, 8am to 4pm at the Proctor / Duluth / South St. Louis County Fairgrounds. The Stampede Rides Again! so join us at the show.
